ChronoPill

Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 April 2026. These terms are incorporated by reference into the Legal Disclaimer and the Privacy Policy.

By downloading, installing, or using ChronoPill (the "App") or this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install the App and do not use this website.

1. Who provides ChronoPill

ChronoPill is published by ChronoPill. Contact: contact@chronopill.com.

2. Scope of the service

ChronoPill is a consumer software application that lets you:

ChronoPill is not a medical device, a clinical decision support system, a pharmacy service, or a telemedicine provider. See the Legal Disclaimer for the full limitations of the service.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

4. Account and data

An account is not required to use ChronoPill: you can install the app and manage your medications without ever signing in. Creating an account (with email + password or Sign in with Apple) is optional and is used only to back up your Premium entitlement, contact support, and sync across your own devices. See the Privacy Policy (Section 2.4) for the exact data stored on our backend when you do.

All your medication data is stored locally on your device by default. You are solely responsible for backing up your device through iCloud Backup or similar means. We cannot recover medication data from a lost or wiped device.

Some Premium features use remote services; see the Privacy Policy for the list and retention policy.

4.1 Account deletion

If you have created an account, you can permanently delete it directly inside the app at any time, in compliance with Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v):

Settings → Account → Delete Account

Deletion erases your account record on our backend (email, password hash, display name, internal user ID, entitlement metadata) within 30 days, cancels all local notifications, and wipes all locally stored medication data on the device. Account deletion does not cancel an active App Store subscription; you must also cancel it in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > ChronoPill. Refund requests must be filed with Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Full details, including statutory retention exceptions and how to request deletion if you have lost access to your device, are in the Privacy Policy, Section 5.4.

5. In-app purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) and the Lifetime non-consumable are sold and billed by Apple via StoreKit, not directly by us. The following applies:

6. Intellectual property

The ChronoPill name, logo, UI design, source code, and all related assets are the intellectual property of the publisher. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by applicable law.

Clinical information displayed in the App is sourced from public regulatory databases and remains the property of the respective authorities (FDA, NLM/DailyMed, ANSM, AEMPS, PMDA, MHRA, AIFA, Health Canada).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. See the full Legal Disclaimer for additional waivers, including the class-action waiver and arbitration clause.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. The publisher may, at its sole discretion, terminate or suspend access to the App in the event of fraud, abuse, or material violation of these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund for any unused subscription period.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App (on next launch) or on this website. Your continued use of the App after a revised version is posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

For users in the United States, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For users in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the EEA, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence shall apply where they grant greater protection. Any dispute that is not covered by the binding arbitration clause in the Legal Disclaimer shall be brought exclusively before the competent courts of Wilmington, Delaware for US users, or Paris, France for EU/EEA users.

11. Contact

For any question about these Terms, email contact@chronopill.com.
